    Hi C4D Users,

I am a new C4D and CreativeCow user, first time poster… so lets see how this goes.

I am trying to set up a thinking particle project from this really handy tutorial:

    https://www.adamswaab.com/tutorials/thinking_particles/groups.html

The desired result is a thinking particle group in the shape of a sphere that billows/blows away once a deflector object passes through it.

Of course, I can’t seem to get it work work properly, and don’t know enough about expresso yet to see if the issue is my setup or a step missing from the tutorial.
I am hoping someone on this forum with a bit more knowledge could help me figure out where this project has gone wrong.

THE PROBLEM: ( As pictured in the attached image)
As the particles blow upwards and out of scree, some of the particles attached to the Sphere vertexs still remain.
When in theory all particles should have blown out of screen by the WIND dynamic.

I can see that the particles that remain onscreen are still from the first group of particles from their colour labelling. But I cant figure out why they aren’t transitioning into particles from the second group which are being affected by the wind dynamic.

    TECH DETAILS:
I am building this in C4D 11.0, Mac OSX environment 10.5.8

Any constructive feedback that could help solve this would be greatly appreciated
