I am having a problem with attaching headlights to a train that is animated on a Spline. The train group is using a Spline Wrap. The lights are in a null and when I drag them into the the train group nothing happens. I’ve parented them to a object in the train group and still nothing. If anyone has any ideas it would be appreciated. Thanks

I’m guessing that the spline wrap won’t affect nulls (or lights). You could attach the light null to the spline with an Align to Spline tag and just adjust the Wrap’s Offset and the ATS’s Position parameter.

Easiest way to do it probably is to use a cloner. If your train object has some points where the lights should go, select them and create a point selection tag. Otherwise just create a couple disconnected points and put them where the lights should be (and do the selection tag thing).

Then create a cloner, drop the light into it, set it to object mode, reference the geometry that has the selection tag, and restrict it to the tag.
