  HELP!!! DOF and I aren’t getting along!

  Hey everybody!

  Any help on this would be HUGELY appreciated! I’m trying to create a scene with DOF in C4D for the first time. I’ve followed the instructions in the manual, as well as a couple of tutorials and other posts and am completely stuck. I’ve tried every configuration I can think of, from using gradients in the post effects control to sticking with distance blur only. I’ve got nothin, I’m stumped. Would someone mind giving me some tips??

  Hey Ryan,

  You mentioned working with the gradients….did you check “USE GRADIENTS” in the Depth of Field render window. I had to research this one from another forum and it changed everything!
