  simple water drop

  I need to make a water drop with a slight emboss for animation. that looks kind of like this. https://strangequark.deviantart.com/art/SPOT-OF-INK-black-01-18118603.. An ambiguous drop shape… looking straight on from the top…
  any suggestions on the shape and how to make the emboss look real. I tried to make the shape with a path from illustrator but had complications on filling the space and editing the spline and grid because of me being a newbie.

  Modeling would be fairly complex but it can be done with sub poly displacement
