So here’s my set up: I want to have a full frame image that animates into wrapping around text created by an extrude NURBS object and a spline.

I can’t get anywhere with this. To make the image full frame I have it as the material of a plane object. There’s a few Morph Deformers and Tags that go with character animation, which is not something I have experience in. But I have no idea how to get from point A (full frame image) to point B (wrapped around text).

How you you have a full image filling the frame and then have it wrap around 3D text in an animation? Any ideas? I have After Effects at my disposal too. Thanks to anyone who can help.

I don’t think it’s possible in Cinema, frankly. You could attempt something like that with the cloth module, but it would never completely wrap each letter; it would look more like you were dropping a blanket on the text.

What you’re really looking for, IMO, is animation of the letter object’s UVW mapping, but Cinema does not support that.
