  File Names

  When ever I import a file with a long name it abbreviates it. I need the name as I want it to be the name of the comp. I tried typing it back in but it shortens it every time. Is there a setting to turn this off or is there a workaround. I basically need the file name to in turn be the comp name and in turn be the final output name. I need this to make the work flow fast and easy. Can you help?
