  Gradient colorize in AE

  Im looking for a gradient colorize effect, like the one available in final cut pro. Is there something like that in AE, or a 3rd party plugin that has it?

  I’m not exactly sure what the gradient colorize effect looks like in FCP but have you tried using a Generate > Ramp effect?

  If you want more than 2 colors try applying the Color Correction > Colorama filter after the default black to white Ramp.
