    Hi there,
I’m animating a beach scene and I’ve made a sand texture with, amongst other things, a fine noise in the bump channel. However, the renders look terrible – it’s like random noise is generated each frame. This has happened in other scenes where I’ve used fine bumps. Is there any way around this? I’ve messed around with stick texture tags but this doesn’t seem to stop the fuzzy noise in the animations.
    Cheers,
    Phil

Have you turned off all movement in the noise? Its default is at .1 that needs to be zero.
If thats not the case it can be your AA a compositing tag with forced AntiAliasing can solve it sometimes….
