Animated texture previews and low res rendering
Hi Guys,
Wondering if someone might be able to help me here.
Basically I have a 3d character with animated texture face. As he talks the face animates (the face movie is done in AE and rendered as a quicktime).
My problem is I’m rendering a complicated scene through vray, with long render times. I need to render the entire animation frequently to show the client and for the audio to be added. Therefore I need to render a low res version (preview quality it fine) but with the animated texture playing on the face.
What would be the best way to render this, baring in mind I’m using vray?
I thought maybe I could render as viewport, bout not sure if this would show the texture animating?
Thanks guys!
Ps…It would also be ideal if I could see the animated texture play in the viewport, rather than having to click reload on the texture everytime – so that I can sync it with the audio. any ideas for that?
