  • Hairy Text in C4D?

Posted by Ruben Gomez on December 2, 2008 at 7:54 pm

    Hi.
I made a text, then extruded it, and then applied hair; but I can’t get hair in the front face of the text. How can I get it?
    Thanks

Make the text editable and then connect the caps and optimize. If you don’t want to make it editable you could try placing the extrude in a connect object and then apply the hair to the connect object.

In addition to Adams answer you may want to change the extruder caps from Ngons to grid to get better placement of hair.

Take your MoText and add it to a Connect object. I switched off the “weld” option in the Connect object to stop the text from warping.
