Learning C4D after a lifetime in Electric Image. Switching apps is quite challenge!

Anyway, I have hundreds of little cubes and pyramids (nurbs) scattered throughout a scene, and now I have to swap them out for a different shape with a different texture. In EI this was not so hard, but in C4D I can’t figure it out.

    Anyone know the secret?

    Thanks!

Unfortunately there’s no easy way to change out objects unless you’ve set the scene up with instances or xrefs from the beginning. The Functions>Transfer command should make it a little less painful. :/

Materials, otoh, are pretty easy. Just multiselect all the texture tags that have the matieral you want changed and then drag the new material from the material manager into the texture tag’s “Material” box.
