    Hi there,

I created an organic object and attached to it a procedural Texture including Fresnel as a color material, and Noice as a Bump and displacement material.
My problem is when I add to it a modifier such as wind, bend taper and so on. The UVW coordinates don’t work with it. I also used the Stick Texture Tag, and it doesn’t work. any suggestions?

have you tried different projection settings like cubic?

No I have not. I thought that if you want to stick a texture on an Object, you need to use UVW coordinates. Why would cubic mapping help me though?

you can use any projection type you want if it looks right.
I am played with some textures here and had no issues with the texture so long a stick texture was applyied. Can you post a file?

I applied a stick texture and it stayed in place.
You can check this sort of thing with by making a checkerboard texture (premade in the the surface drop down)

Then watch with the wireframe visible.

First, the stick texture tag is only necessary if you are using a projection type *other* than UVW mapping. Second, no matter what type of mapping you use, your noise won’t follow the deformed object unless its “Space” is set to either UV (2D) or Texture.
