  Mac to PC AEC exchange

  I have Cinema 4D on my Mac and After Effects CS3 on my PC.
  Before I go and blow something up can I output AEC files from my Mac and open them in my Windows After Effects?

  The plug-in folder on Mac C4D does have two different plug-ins for windows and Mac but will windows read the file from Mac C4D?
