June 8, 2007 at 10:42 pmIt’s probably because your sound file is a MP3, try converting it to a .wav.

September 5, 2011 at 2:46 pmHi, I also have the same problem. I already checked the CD4 specs for audio export…
(Load a .wav or .aif sound file into this field. The files must be uncompressed.
The following is supported:
11,22 kHz and 44 kHz
8-bit and 16-bitOne second of CINEMA 4D animation is equal to one second of sound from the sound file. In other words, if a CINEMA 4D animation is played at 25 fps, the sound file’s frequency spectrum will also be interpolated (sampled) at 25 fps (see also texture path pages).)
The way I did the fps part was exporting the file in AE within a 25 fps composition…
…And I still can hear anything…
Any Idea??
thank you

September 6, 2011 at 3:07 amWhen you say you can’t hear anything, does that mean your effector is working but you can’t hear the sound? Just want to be clear.
If that IS the case, then you need to make sure that the speaker icon is switched on in the lower right corner (see picture)
