  • adding segments after the fact?

I have a cube that I’ve animated. It shows up as a blue triangle in the Objects Manager. I need to add segments to the Z parameter but I can seem to get to it.

Do I need to create a new cube at the exact coordinates and just add segments before animating or is there a way to add some segments now?

I’m using a Shatter deformer on the cube and rotating the Pitch of the cube but that’s all I’ve actually done to the cube object itself.

the blue triangle indicates that it is no longer a parametric object, so you can’t input the segments on the z axis like you did at the beginning. You can use the knife tool to subdivide it on the z axis… or start over with the cube, input the desired segments, etc
