  Even Cuts

  While im in Polygon mode, i have selected one polygon that sits on the side of an editable object. I need to split this panel up in to x number of even panels. The knife tool allows me to make 1 cut, however id like to make multiple cuts which are evenly spread out over a the distance of the polygon preferably with a parameter of “number of cuts”..

  Is this possible?
  If not is there a another automatic way of dividing up a polygon which gives me independant control over the new polygons created.

  Yes, it’s possible with the “Edge Cut” tool. 🙂 Just select the edges and you can get an interactive preview of the cuts. Hint: turn off the default “ngons” option.
