    Hi Guys

After following tutorials religiously, have managed to create a simple road like shape using the sweep nurbs and a spline. But i want my road to twist a little at chicanes, can anyone help me with this next step. I have tried dropping in a bend boolean, but am not achieving anything thing at the moment.

    Your advice is much appreciated!

    Thanks
    Gus

If you mean banking, then you can control it from the rotation spline graph in the “Details” section of your Sweep NURBS.

You can also use a rail spline to control banking. Or you can use deformers by putting the sweepNURBS under a null together with whatever deformers you want to use.

Not sure what you mean. If you need more control, use loft NURBS instead of sweeps. You can then rotate each shape separately and control the inbetween segments more selectively.
