  Photoshop to AE workflow

  I am doing large scale lower thirds for a recital. Each song has their own lower third. I edit the text in Photoshop, save it, reload the footage in AE and then export quicktime to then be pulled into Avid. I was thinking today there has to be a faster way and so I figured I would ask here.

  Is there a way to write a script in AE to have it reload footage and then auto export. prompting me with only to name the file.
