We are learning how to use the awesome hair module for C4D, but have run into some technical issues. Specifically, in placing and styling hair on a character, we have set up a collider tag on the model but are getting, in the render, strands of hair passing through the forehead and cheeks. This problem comes up most often after scaling, cutting and brushing the hair and is more noticeable when the hair count is increased. So far we have not been able to isolate the cause, and have been folllowing the tutorial that came with the module for set-up. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.

    Hi,
have you set Hair Dynamics to Guides or Hair?
If it is set to Guides, only the guides will collide and the hairs are interpolated between them. This can easily lead to intersection. Either increase Guide count/density or switch Hair Dynamics to Hair.
    Cheers
