  • Making holes in a sphere object.

Posted by Greg Paterson on February 23, 2006 at 1:13 am

    Greetings,

I need to make some nice smooth round holes on the surface of a model which is based on a sphere primative.

What is the best approach to this.?

    Thanks

    Greg

Well, if you spike your sphere with a few cylinders in your choosen size –
maybe group the cylinders in a null and increase the segments in the sphere
maybe to 48 – put them all in a Boole-Object (the sphere in first position) –
    either A subtract B or A without B.
I find the holes look very
