Cloth and belt points

what version of C4D?
Belting has changed a bit in 9.5

I noticed while trying that the belting object and the cloth should not intersect. When the two objects are separated by a tiny distance it al works well.

I love that tutorial but I can’t make it work on c4d r12? Can anyone tell me how to do this on r12? I’m trying to make a kite and have the tail animate with the kite and I can’t make it work. Thank you

in12 a Cloth tag and Belt tag both go on the tail. Select the points of the tail that are supposed to be belted and in the Belt tag set those points (they will change color) and choose the object they are supposed to belt to (probably the kite’s frame).
