I’m a motion graphics/video editor who’s very interesting in learning the basics 3d modeling and C4D, but aside from online tutorials I haven’t been able to find anything very helpful.

Does anyone know of classes or some kind of hands-on training
thats available for C4D in the Washington DC / Metro area??

I checked the Maxon website and they don’t list anything.

    Thanks,
    steve

    Sorry Steve,
There isn’t any. I’ve looked for the last 4 years.
Someone over at c4d cafe asked about cleaner composites with c4d and AE so I did a quick tut for him.
You’ll need QuickTime 7 or some Windows folks prefer VLC Media Player.

    thanks, doug.

i can’t believe that a major 3d program – especially one so integrated with AE – like C4D doesn’t have ANY classes offered in the 3rd largest market in the country?

WTF are they doing? where do people go to learn their software?
the only comprehensive video tutorial i can find is from VTC,
but its so old it dates back to version 6 (i think).

    very disappointing.
