    hi all,

i’m no expert, so bear with me…

i’ve set up a logo with a top and bottom row of horizontal lights. The lights are not meant to illuminate the logo, rather be more of a design element. HOwever wehn i set up my lights, they look very unreal…the cone is too sharp at one end.

Anyone have a suggestions on how to set up a decent looking light? and how to set it so it isn’t actually illuminating anything else in the scene…

i appologize if i’m being too vague

No illumination – check ‘No Light Radiation’ in the General tab of the lights properties

no point on the light (I assume by to sharp at one end you mean the pointy end) – check ‘Near Clip’ in the Details tab and set the From and To values higher than 0 but close together to clip off the end of the light.
