    Hi all

I’m rendering out a little animation to be imported into after effects. The animation has lights on solids which are casting shadows against a wall. Problem is when imported into AE i get bad strobing and rainbow effects when played back.

I’m rendering in C4D with the sorenson video 3 codec for PAL setup in AE

Any help would be great as i dont have much time to sort this out.

Use no codec (none or animation) or better render to pictseries ( tga, psd etc.) when rendering out of Cinema or you loss all quality.
Do your thing in AE, save to lossles again and if on Mac do the codec using QT-Pro, else do the codec with AE in parallel with the no-codec. (That way AE render both at the same time. See AE docs how to do that.)

    Cheers
    Lennart
