3D soundwaves in c4d?
Posted by Jhm1977 on August 24, 2005 at 2:26 pmHi all.
I have seen this link and was wondering how this is achievable. Is there a 3D soundwavesa plugin or is it expression or is it something similar to trpacodes afx plugin soundwaves?
Any suggestions welcomed

August 24, 2005 at 7:39 pmHi,
i have no idea what link you mean, but if it is the distortion effect from Matrix or similar then afaik this is done in postproduction and not directly in 3D.
Cheers

August 25, 2005 at 2:01 pmYes, use the Xpresso sound node for this. I’m pretty sure thats how Tim did it in this animation.
Cheers

August 26, 2005 at 10:16 amThanks Bjorn. Just wondering if there are any tutorials or scene files around for someone (like me) to understand the basics of sound node.
Could check out the manual but i think actual scene files are most of the time more helpful…thanks

August 26, 2005 at 6:44 pmTake a look here for an example
https://bonkers.de/xpresso/examples.html
It looks a bit complex, but you can use it as is to create your own effects.Cheers
