I am following a tutorial that comes with the Studio Bundle.
I am asked to select two polygons that are at 90 degrees to each other and extrude them.
When you do the extrusion at the default settings, the polys it creates overlap on the top. To fix this it says I need to change the maximum angle to 90 degrees(from the 89 it is by default) and make sure preserve groups is on. When I do this I still get the same resualt of the overlapping polys, and the tutorial video I am following has the polys not overlaping but with an angle where they meet. What am I doing wrong?????

Unfortunately I don’t know that tutorial.
I’m really not sure what you mean with “the polys it creates overlap on the top”.
If one puts two cubes 90 degree to each other and extrude the two polys,
which touch each other at the corner, one creates just another cube, then two more…
    five in the end.
Maybe I’m getting here something wrong.

    Cheers
