I’m animating a character in C4D 8.5 – he’s all together, i’ve used simple expresso to tie the eye directions together as well as simultaneous blinking.

The eyeballs and lids sit in the hierarchy with the body/head mesh

I have created bones and a soft IK system and used the claude bonet tool to carefully paint restrictions – the problem is that the eyes “jump out of the system as soon as I move the character – i’ve tried everything (that i know of)to sit them in the hierarchy

is a there a simple way to correctly animate these components independently while still being deformed by the bones, and covered by the overall hypernurb object?

are there any tutorials/ books/ references on character animating in C4D?

Unfortunately I don’t have Mocca – The last time I played with the Demo
I remember I took the eyes first out of the hierarchy (otherwise Mocca put
a Tip-Goal on the eyes) than I applied “Set up IK chain” .
Took all the Tip-Goals out of the hierarchy and attached the eyes again
to the head-bone. When I moved the Tip-Goals the eyes stayed in place.

    Cheers
