How to change the position of the ‘anchor’ of an object
Hello,
New C4d user, seasoned After Effects user…I’ve created a simple cube and it has an ‘anchor’ in the middle of it with handles I can drag to move the cube along all three axes. The ‘anchor’ fits dead center of the cube, and for most purposes this suits me down to the ground. However, I can think of times where I’ll want to move the ‘anchor’, either within the cube or even somewhere outside it…
In After Effects you can do this by clicking ‘Y’ (pan behind tool?) and drag it into its new position without moving its parent object. Is there such a way to acheive this in C4d? And I’m sure the terminology is not ‘anchor’ in C4d…can anyone give me the correct name for this, and I can do some research on my own about what it is capable of doing?
Take care,
Nick
