  Liability insurance for one-off documentary presentation to local group?

  I’d like to schedule a not-for-profit showing of an unpublished documentary I’ve made to a local interest group. The event will probably be a fundraiser for the group. I currently don’t know what the venue’s requirements for insurance are, but in an abundance of caution I’d like to arrange liability insurance for the content of video in case anyone feels the need to sue over the content – the documentary subject matter is mundane, but as we know, anyone can begin a lawsuit for any reason.

  Can anyone recommend an insurer who could handle this – if this were being distributed then standard E&O would be the way to go, probably costing about $3k-$4k for a few years cover would be sought, but this is the only outing this documentary will likely have.
