  • 5 Sek controlled camera move, then follow the position of different layer

    Hi guys,

i hope you can help me, it is not that urgent, but i am sure, that me or someone else will need it. I know how to add an expression to a layer, so that it follows the position of a different one. Now i’ve created a camera move, which follows a light 5 seconds…manually configured. After 5 seconds, i want the camera to follow the position of the Light.

Now you will ask me: What is your question?

How do i switch, or how can i add for a specific time an expression and then delete it?

    thank you!

Can you duplicate the camera and trim the layers so the second camera takes over from where the first camera left off?

you should be able to just add another camera and trim the layer to begin where the other camera ends… so you could duplicate the layer, or even split the layer (not sure if that works, but it should) and add the expression to the second camera layer.
