  Need some contract advice

  Hey, folks….

  I’m transitioning from full-time staff type of position to a freelance existence as an Editor/Compositor.

  My main question is: what kind of a contract should I have on hand? How can I protect myself from getting “stiffed” from people I don’t know?

  Fortunately, most of my freelance work at this point has been with already established professional relationships – folks I know and trust.
