I make a 3D sence in AE.I want a layer to move in a 3d space, but I don’t want it be distorted because perpective reason. So I make the layer looking at the camera to avoid such thing. But It seems I failed. The layer keeps looking at the camera, but still being distorted. What’s wrong? What should I do?
Any sugestion would be appreciated, and thinks in advance.

Just to double-check: You’ve turned on auto-orient towards camera for your layer in 3D. set your player in 3D space and then you animate your camera to fly around, or are you flying your layer around?

You have created a camera? You’re not using the active camera setting in the preview window? it’s a mistake i’ve made before and took ages to spot it.

ah i got it. i’ve just recreated your poect based on description. It’s down to the camera’s point of interest.

What you need to do, is set a postion keyframe for your solid, copy it and paste it into the point of interest for your camera.

Now no matter where you move your camera, your solid will always point towards it and you camera will always look at it.

Thanks ,but I have many solids in the sence.:(
I found it has something to do with the camera’s point of interest too.And I found if If I chose a 200mm camera, the distorting will be weakened.
