    Hi,

I have a cartoonish figure with the arms as 2 separate layers. I want to animate the arms moving up and down, but when I rotate the layer the arm doesn’t stay where it’s supposed to be attached at the shoulder. Instead, the arm rotates as if the hand is the center. How do I rotate the arm so it moves up and down without the end un-attaching from the shoulder?

Hope I explained it well. Thanks in advance for the help!

Use the pan behind tool to move the layer’s anchor point to the shoulder where it should pivot around. You might have to change the initial position of the layer once you do this, but once you get it set up it will work like you want it to.
