  Motion Stabilizer Assistance

  Trying to get Boris RED 5 Motion Stabilizer to work in Vegas 10e.

  followed the instruction on this tutorial:
  https://www.borisfx.com/tutorials/stabilizer.php

  but can’t seem to get the preview monitor to get the motion analysis screen.

  When I analyze the clip doesn’t seem to be stabilized.

  Hi Bryon,

  When you have the preview monitor open for the motion tracker, do you see the search and target regions as displayed in the tutorial clip? If so, did you click on the analyze button in the control panel and if you did this, did you see the trackers in motion as they locked on to the target?

  Thanks Peter, I think I kind of figured it out. I moved the video event below the effect and the trackers appeared.

  Still not sure what all the other controls are and how they are used. There’s NOTHING on the web or in the online documentation.

  Is there a better more detailed tutorial, .pdf or manual of all the controls?

  I ended up using Mercalli stabilization, much better result and straight forward.
