  • AVID AAF via Boris AAF Transfer- Audio track problem

Mac pro AMC 5.5.3   FCP 6    Boris AAF Transfer 2.1.2

I want to transfer my edit in FCP to AVID using Boris AAF Transfer and the AMA feature in Avid.

The clips in the FCP-sequance have four audio track (fcpA1 fcpA2 fcpA3 fcpA4) with different content.

After transfer to AVID (aaf transfer via boris, import AAF in Avid, relink to AMA-fiels) the clips four audio tracks in the AVID-sequance now have the same content (amcA1=fcpA1 amcA2=fcpA1 amcA3=fcpA1 amcA4=fcpA1)

(The AMA-file have different content on all tracks)

    What do I do wrong?

Is there anyone who had made a transfer from FCP to AVID without having the audio content (a2-axx)replaced?

I had it explained for me by the excellent support at Boris.

The AMA-feature is only working for Apple ProRes422 media. My media is DVCPro50 and I have to do a batch import, making new AVID mxf files instead of linking to the original files.
