I’m trying to use the ‘animated container’ title, specifically the one called ‘Squeezeon’.

What I want is to have the animated text appear on the screen, and hold the last frame of the animation there. I have tried extending the animation duration, but this only slows down the overall speed at which the letters appear on the screen.

Does anyone know how to hold the frame?

    Hi,

    Try this:

    • go to the frame where you want to hold the animation
    • select the track labelled Text in the timeline
    • in the Controls Window, click on the Type On tab to select it
    • click on the square next to the Text Type On parameter to add a keyframe and select Hold from the list of available keyframe types

You can now set a new duration for the effect without affecting the animation.

Please let me know if this helps.

    Cheers,

    Peter.
