Extruded EPS shifting Z-depth
I’m new to this filter, so I apologize for the newb question.
I have an EPS that I’m bringing into After Effects. Call this Layer 1. I then put a solid over top of it. Call this Layer 2. I then apply BCC Extrude EPS to Layer 2. I reference the same EPS file as Layer 1.
What I would expect is for Layer 2 to be an extruded version of Layer 1, perfectly aligned.
However, Layer 2 is moved forward in Z-space. (Viewed at an angle, the extruded EPS is hovering above Layer 1).
Strangely, if I preview at Half resolution, it is not shifted in Z space. Layer 2 is directly locked Layer 1, and stays locked to it even as I move the camera.
Does anyone have an idea of how to get rid of this z-space shift. Why does it move the layer?
Sorry, there were no replies found.
