  Reflection Effect

  What is the easiest way to do the “reflection look” of an image or logo on a background, similar to what a lot of commercials are doing now.

  Well that depends … what host are you using? If you are using FCP then you can use the Boris Continuum Shaders to automate the process. Here’s a link to the BFX web site where you can download a trial version of BCC 6 FxPlug, in case you don’t already have that.

  The BCS shaders are listed at the bottom of the page and the filter that generates this effect is called 3D Perspective.
