    Hi,

I’m interested to the current MUPromo for Boris FX for Final Cut Pro. Since I don’t plan to upgrade from Final Cut Express soon, I wonder if there are ways to use Boris FX and FCE together.

In case Boris does not work as a plugin, I would be happy enough to use it as a standalone app, to edit clips and then import them into FCE after rendering.

I read in the forum that someone does this, but I cannot understand at which extent. Boris says you cannot use their product with FCE. I’m mostly interested to the stabilizer, motion blur and light effects. Does someone has a positive experience with them?

    Paolo

    Hi Paolo,

You might want to download Boris RED and use that for your effects as RED includes a standalone render function that enables you to render out the effects that you are creating, which you can then import and sequence in FCE.

You can download the free 2 week trial version of the software here:

    I hope this helps.

    Cheers,

    Peter.
