I have added our office logo to a animated title in Red which looks fine in the Red preview window. However once I apply it back to Avid Xpress Pro, while the rest of the title renders fine, the photo looks terrible. I have tried using Jpeg, Tiff and PSD, and all do the same thing. What am I doing wrong?

    Much appreciated in advance, Lance

Probably need a little more detail all around. System specs and a definition of “terrible” might help.

After trying every format and confirming import options, I am still getting distorted and soft result with titles that look great in FX (red). All I am doing is applying the title from (FX), but the result is way off. I have linked to captures of the title within Red and after it is imported into Avid. Your help would be greatly appreciated. The system is an Avid approved Pentium 4 with 4 gig of memory and Nvidia card.

Interesting that your two image sizes are different. What is the comp size of the FX project versus your Avid project? Are you importing these graphics back into Avid using Resize or Maintain? Do you have 1:2:1 Deflicker on or off?
