Unfortunately it is still not working in FCP, as all effects now say they don’t have “proper authorization” when booting up FCP. Even though they work fine in Red 4!

Any word on this? Is it working with the Intel Macs?

    Thanks,
    Tim

[Tim Langston] “ny word on this? Is it working with the Intel Macs?”

I had to remove this from my FCP system. First the system crashed 5 times during normal operation in about 2 hours. Then the system crashed every single time I tried to render anything, and nothing had the BCC filters applied yet.

I removed the BCC4 plugins and now the system is working well again. No idea what’s going on and I even purchased the update so I could use them in an Intel based project, but they are causing havoc over here.

Thanks for the heads up. I just finished a huge project, come Monday I was going to try and install. I think I’ll wait.

As a follow up, the BCC 4 does seem to be working in After Effects 7.0 on the same machine. So if you can use them in AE, you’re ok and in my case, I can simply export the scenes from FCP and just use the filters in AE.

Ok, nevermind. AE just locked up during a second test render. Ok, BCC 4 is not ready for prime time yet on the Intel Macs.
