    Hi Rick,

The short answer is no, the only product that we develop which currently runs in FCP 5.1.1 is Boris Calligraphy, which is included as a part of the FCP product installation. We are cognizant of the fact that we need to support this version of FCP with our product line and we are working toward that goal but I cannot commit to a set completion date just yet. Please stay in touch with us and I will provide you with a report on our progress in that regard as we come close to a solution. Also, please feel free to contact me directly at peterm@borisfx.com should you need to discuss this further.

    Cheers,

    Peter.

    Hi Rick,

I have a correction to my last post … the current versions of our products actually will run inside of FCP 5.1.1 as long as you are running FCP on a non-Intel Mac (I had incorrectly assumed that you were on a Mac Intel machine when I wrote the last post.) Our tech support team are in he process of getting in touch with you directly to sort this issue out.

    Cheers,

    Peter.

Since we’re talking about Red 3.0.5….I can use it as a generator, once I try to use it as a filter or try the transitions….with caps lock on it doesn’t work. If I go in and delete prefs it seems to work for a day or so.

So I guess just keep deleting prefs and I’ll be fine???

    Hi Tim,

That sounds kind of ugly … let’s see what our tech support guru’s have to say.

    Thanks,

    Peter.

Well after taling to the Tech reps at Boris. RED 3.0.5.0 does work with 5.1.1. The only problem is that you have to do alot more then what the hand out tells you. You hav eto uninstall red and reinstall it and throw away all the prefs of red in your system. Then it all works like a charm.

Where do you find all the files to delete? Did they give you a list?

    Thanks,
    Tim
