    Hi,
I am about to embark on a project that is going to contain lots of hand drawn style animation. The idea is to use the vector paint effect in AECS3 to create this style.

I have only used this effect in the past for simple clips, and has always been drawn on top of the video layer.

I am concerned that if I approach the current project in this manner then I will come across problems later in adjusting or editing the animation or video.

I would br very grateful if anyone could point me in the direction of a good article/tips or information about the vector paint process. Or if anyone could suggest a better/quicker way of gaining the hand drawn stop motion animation style from after effects.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.
    Many thanks,
    Martin.
