    I have CS3 on an Intel Mac (just bought it in dec), and am trying to use M2T’s in it. When I scrub through it keeps stopping and giving me an error, it is as follows

    After Effects error (4) reading frame from file “/lists the whole file address”.
    ( 86 :: 2 )

    Anyone know whats causing this? The video files are fine as I`ve been working with them in Premiere for a month or so now.

    Its weird because its only a ‘sometimes’ issue. I tried closing everything, rebooting, reopening AE and reimporting everything and it had no problem with it. Is this normal for the errors you describe? For it to be a ‘moody’ error?

    Hmmm…having same error message. I’m using CS5.5 though.

    I suspected a pre-render might fix the problem, so I took my H.264 quicktime and pre-rendered it to an uncompressed quicktime. I replaced my original H.264 footage in my project with this new uncompressed file and tried rendering again. 31 frames in it’s frozen solid.

    Any ideas?
