Blur Person Face In Background of Video
Hello all,
I need to blur the face of someone in the background . . . did a search and found the following info on the net . . “First, create an Adjustment Layer above the video layer in your AE timeline by selecting Layer>New>Adjustment Layer. Then, go to your Effects & Presets Panel and type “Gaussian Blur” in the Contains field, and drag the Gaussian Blur effect to the Adjustment Layer. Select the Adjustment Layer, go to the Effect Controls, and change Blurriness to 30.Then, go to the Toolbar and select the Elliptical Mask Tool by holding your mouse button down on the Rectangular Mask Tool and selecting the Elliptical Mask once the pop-up appears.” . . . this is where it gets crazy for me, First my adjustment layer is white, Second when I use the Elliptical Tool, my “Composition Layer” turn black as night . . I can not see the persons face to use the Elliptical Tool and it stays black for the duration of the tutorial I following . . .picture in the tutorial are transparent not black. Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong ? ? or is there another way to achive the same effect ? ? Usinging CS3
Thanks – Hap
