hey guys, I have been working in an animation here that gives me a nice result in the monitor screen, but once it goes to tv it looks totally terrible. It had happened to me before, when I used trapcode shine, and the colorize function is based on the lightness of my image.. The turn around was to use it based on alpha edges at that time, but now i have the same problem occurring with my background… It might be a very very simple video thing to change, but I have not figured it out… Could you guys help me out?

    here’s a sreenshot

btw – it was rendered as a .mov file w/ no compression at all

    thank you in advance

It would help to know what part of this image you are unhappy with.

If you are referring to the banding going on in your gradient areas, that could be fixed by making the project 16-bit instead of 8-bit (go into Project Settings).

Outside of that you need to be more specific about what you are trying to fix, so that people can address the particular issue.
