  Path Text Effect for Objects?

  Hey there, I’m using Path Text and I am trying to find an easy way much like the Path Text to have some straight lines move ahead of my text along the path and distort in the same wavy shape as my path. I will also have some circular objects moving ahead of the Text.
  Is there an easy way to do this? I’ve tried auto-orienting, and it follows the path but it doesn’t want to distort along the path…
  Also, I scaled my path text after I applied the path so when i paste the path to my lines it’s smaller than the path that the text is on. I don’t want to scale the lines up though.

  Can someone keep me sane here?
