  Matrix Silver from mirror effect

  Im attempting to create a shot that is similar to the scene in Matrix 1 where neo touches the mirror and the silver envelops his body.

  Id like to do this with either glass or water so the actor is still visible through the material.

  Does anyone have any idea how to do this?

  Oh and the actor will be turning around during the sequence

  Try using the effect cc mr mercury and track mate it through a duplicated layer of your footage. Make sure your duplicated layer only contains the data that you want to track in this case your actor! This could take a while if you cant key out your actor because you will then be manipulating your mask keyframes frame by frame.
