We’re looking for an economical way of buying a monitor for on location shoots. Normally we’ll always have power and just need a way to play back footage for the client to see it. We’ve been looking at Dell’s UltraSharp 2407WFP because it has component inputs built in. I could see us just using the cam (JVC 110u) to play out through the components to the monitor, getting the OK and then moving on. What are the drawbacks of this approach? (I’m guessing controlling brightness, contrast, etc are a concern)

    Thanks
