Hi – I am shooting a Stage Play (Christmas Carol) using two JVC HM100’s – This will be the first chance I have had to do full 1920 * 1080p 24frames and wondered if any reason not to use this frame rate or should I go with 30p or 60i. I will be shooting alot of Close ups and med shots with panning to follow action. Output will be both standard widescreen DVD and some Bluray. Editing on Premiere Pro CS5

    Thanks
    Roy

24 frame will give you lots more artifacting on the pans and moves if you’re not careful and deliberate. Fewer frames is fewer frames.
